Go With Jesus (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online missionary-training platform operated by Fire Over Africa Missionary Training Institute (FOAMTI). This policy explains what information we collect through our website and the “Going for Jesus” mobile app (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile and a Google account identifier.
Profile & preferences — such as your preferred language, country, and any bio you add.
Learning activity — the courses you access, lesson progress, quiz attempts and scores, and certificates earned.
Payment information — memberships are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card details; we keep only limited billing status (e.g. plan and subscription state).
Donations — if you give, donations are handled by a third-party provider (Tithe.ly); we do not process or store your payment details.
Communications — messages you send us (e.g. via the contact form) and transactional emails we send you.
Technical data — basic device and usage information and approximate location (derived from your IP) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your information

To provide the Service — create your account, deliver courses and lessons in your language, track progress, grade quizzes, and issue certificates.
To process memberships and donations through our providers.
To communicate with you about your account, training, and support requests.
To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.
To comply with legal obligations.

Service providers we use

We share limited information with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service:

Stripe — payment processing for memberships.
Tithe.ly — donation processing.
Vimeo — hosting and streaming lesson videos.
Amazon Web Services (S3) — storing course files and PDFs.
Google — optional sign-in, and machine translation of content.
Email delivery & hosting providers that operate our infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & sessions

The website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against fraud. The mobile app stores a secure sign-in token on your device. These are required for the Service to function.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at info@gowithjesus.org. You can update your profile and language, or sign out, at any time in the app or on the website.

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

International transfers

We serve learners across Africa, Asia, and beyond. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. We take steps to protect it in line with this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
